1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines permitted and prohibited uses of AEVUM.

AEVUM is a platform for serious, finished works and long-form knowledge sharing. It is not a social network, discussion forum, or general file-hosting service.

This policy exists to protect readers, creators, and the integrity of the platform.

2. General Use Principles

You agree to use AEVUM:

  • lawfully;
  • responsibly;
  • in a manner consistent with intentional publishing; and
  • without harming others or the platform.

You are solely responsible for all content you publish and for the consequences of publishing it.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use AEVUM to publish, upload, or distribute content that:

3.1 Legal Violations

  • violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights;
  • constitutes defamation, fraud, or misrepresentation.

3.2 Harmful or Discriminatory Content

  • promotes or incites hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics (including race, religion, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability);
  • harasses, threatens, or abuses others.

3.3 Platform Abuse

  • contains malware, viruses, or malicious code;
  • attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
  • interferes with the operation, security, or integrity of the platform;
  • uses AEVUM primarily as a bulk storage or distribution system rather than a publishing platform.

3.4 Misuse of Identity or Authority

  • impersonates another person or entity;
  • falsely claims endorsement, affiliation, or approval by AEVUM.

4. Neutral Platform Disclaimer

Content published on AEVUM represents the views and responsibility of the individual publisher only.

AEVUM does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for user-published content and does not guarantee its accuracy, legality, or suitability.

5. Enforcement

AEVUM may take action where we reasonably believe this policy has been violated, including:

  • restricting visibility of content;
  • disabling access to works;
  • suspending or terminating accounts.

AEVUM is not obligated to monitor content proactively and does not assume editorial responsibility for user submissions.

6. Relationship to Other Policies

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of the Terms of Service and should be read together with:

  • the Terms of Service
  • the Privacy Policy
  • the Copyright & Takedown Policy

In the event of conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
